Putting the cool back in KOHLRABI ;)

I'm just going to come out and say it...Kohlrabi is kind of the classic CSA vegetable. So many farms grow it and include it in their shares, but very few members know how to prepare it. So how can you enjoy this delectable winter vegetable? Kohlrabi is a bulbous vegetable that has a crunchy, delicious flavour perfect for raw or cooked dishes. Peel off that outer layer and you're into the good stuff - some describe it like a sweet, juicy radish, I think of it as the delicious tender interior of broccoli stems. Check out these three recipes and have fun with this uncommon vegetable!

Baked Kohlrabi with Feta

I have to admit, I haven't tried this one myself...but I sure hope to soon. It looks so tasty! :)
