KALE - The Sweet Winter Green!

I don't know about you, but I've sure been enjoying the kale these past few weeks. This cold weather has made it sweeter than ever! Lately, I steam the leaves whole and eat them with my fingers (I personally believe that in order to fully enjoy your greens, you have to eat them with your fingers!!!...mmmm, so good!!).

If you're still on the fence with kale, then here are some recipes that might help you celebrate this delicious winter green.

Spicy Kale Caesar Salad

Since Kale is a hardy winter green, I recommend to massage your salad, rather than simply tossing it. It helps wilt the greens and really makes all the difference!

*PS - If you'd prefer to have your caesar without the spicy kick, simply leave out the hot sauce.

Kale and Roasted Delicata Salad

This is another great winter salad, perfect for the holidays or to enjoy with a friend.

Chickpea & Kale Shakshuka

Shakshukas make great savoury breakfasts. There are so many different ways to make this dish, and it's a great way to use up your odd and ends.
